Bangladesh is the land of Heritage inhibition. From the Sultanate period to Colonial regime till contemporary Bangladesh we have a significant number of heritage architectures. We have temples, mosques, forts, Moth (Hindu Burial), Jamindar House, and many modern heritages and landmarks. What do the city’s heritage and landmark buildings actually mean to people who live there? Borrowing from Kevin Lynch, we’d like to explore this question through illustrations in the context of Bangladesh.

In this year CONTEXT inviting you to showcase your graphic art skill by creating a PICTOGRAM of your favorite Architectural Heritage with simple 2D vector illustration. We are expecting well-known as well as least known heritages of our country and encouraging you to uphold the hidden gem in the town or city you live in. Your work will be published online and in printed format. So, get on with all your skill-set to present your heritage architecture with a graphical emblem.
