Dr. Choudhury received Ph.D. in Architecture from Texas A&M University, M. Phil (Arch.) from University of Newcastle, and B. Arch from Bangladesh University Engineering & Technology. He joined Texas A&M University in 1994.  He has extensive experience as a consulting architect working on projects funded by the World Bank and other multilateral development banks. His areas of emphasis in research include mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in buildings; housing;alternative technology;global construction management; and construction education. He has made original contributions to the field of construction project management through the use of time-cost relationship model. He has written three textbooks, three book chapters, and 94 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. Dr. Choudhury is a Fulbright Scholar.
