In collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in Bangladesh, the Department of Architecture at BRAC University  is organizing lecture and workshop events  entitled Spanish Lecture Series . This is the first of its kind where a local architecture department and a foreign embassy have collaborated to invite architects from abroad for a local audience in Dhaka.

On this occasion, Mónica Gutiérrez Herrero and Rubén Lorenzo Montero from BASURAMA, Madrid will conduct a workshop on Thursday, February,8, 11.30 am, at the Exhibition Space of the Department of Architecture, BRAC University.

BASURAMA is an artist collective dedicated to research, cultural and environmental creation and production whose practice revolves around the reflection of trash, waste and reuse in all its formats and possible meanings. It was born in the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) in the year 2001 and, since then, it has evolved and acquired new shapes.
