Idea Competition: Designing the Stall – A Place of Stories

The CLAYMIRE team has launched “Designing the Stall – A Place of Stories,” an international design competition reimagining the tea stall as a hub for community interaction. Participants are encouraged to explore innovative ideas focusing on community impactcreative design, and functionality.

The Top 20 designs will be published on CLAYMIRE’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and winners will receive awards and cash prizes.

Jurors:

  1. Shuvra Das – Architect and academic, a lecturer at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. With a focus on sustainable building practices and community collaboration, he has received formal training at RMIT, Melbourne, Australia.
  2. Khwaja Fatmi – Architect and humanitarian worker recognized by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. Currently with Oxfam, her contributions include social architecture projects for Rohingya refugees and community health initiatives.
  3. Tasadduk Hossain Dulu – A celebrated artist from Chittagong, Bangladesh, with accolades including the Young Artist Award (1995) and Artist Rashid Chowdhury Award. His works explore fresh artistic perspectives through urban and rural themes.
