Award giving ceremony of ‘Noman Award for Excellence in Design, 2014’ organized by the Department of Architecture, BRAC University, was held on February 20, 2015. ProVC & Chairperson Prof. Fuad H Mallick and Ar. Khaled Noman AIA graced the occasion along with eminent architects Ar. Mohammad Foyez Ullah and Ar. Mahmudul Anwar Riyaad, who were the jurors of NAED 2014 cycle. The ceremony was held in BRAC university auditorium.

The award winning project was ‘A Vision for Developing Transitional Space, Farmgate’ by safa Binte Safi. Commendation awards were given to ‘Shangshaptak- Asrayon o Punorbashonkendro’ by Bidoura Mosharraf and ‘River Halda Awakening- a research training and awareness centre’ by Farasha Zaman.

National Centre for folk arts , Dhaka, Bangladesh by Farzana Afroz; Vision for developing Transitional space at Farmgate, Dhaka by Safa Binte Safi; River Halda Awakening- a research training and awareness centre by Farasha Zaman.

An exhibition also held with the nominated projects in Department of Architecture, BRAC University. This is the second cycle of the award which started in 2013 sponsored by Architect Khaled Noman , AIA.
