The following project is the Joint First in open urban design competition entitled ‘Model Streetscape of Arterial Mirpur Road’ organized by Dhaka South City Corporation in collaboration with Institute of Architects Bangladesh. The competition called upon streetscape design proposals for three-kilometre stretch of Mirpur Road [from Newmarket node at south to Dhanmondi 27 (old) node at north] as a visionary and executable model for Dhaka streets.
The entry won the 3rd prize in the Open Architectural Design Competition for “Health Complex One” Project organized by Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) and Grameen Kalyan (GK). The challenge of the project was to create a reciprocal dialogue with the surrounding urban environment as well as emphasizing the ideology of social business and sustainability. To provide a productive landscape was the centerpiece of the project development around which usable spaces are arranged pragmatically.
International Union of Architects World Congress held in Tokyo asked for research design to be presented on the program. Main theme of the congress was “Design 2050”. Under the sub theme of ‘Urban Inventions’, the following entry tries to investigate future global urban tendencies.
The design proposal wins the First prize in Front Desk Design Competition ‘EDGE CONNECT’ organized by Edge, the Foundation in August 2016.

This project won the third place by the design team of Archisan from Bangladesh in the 4th Earth Architecture Competition called by Nka Foundation, 2016. The project emphasized the sustainable structure and cost-efficient construction that can be built with earth and other local materials in rural Ghana.

The competition “Creating an Urban Oasis” aimed to engage students from different disciplines related to architecture, planning and engineering from universities to submit visionary design proposal appropriate for 415 acre site of Tejgaon Old Airport .It was expected to find new horizons of ideas on how public places could be regenerated within the congested city fabric of Dhaka. The proposals needed to focus on socio-cultural, economic, environmental values, harmonization with surrounding areas.
